It’s Showtime!
Art on 30th’s new show this month is “Red Velvet” and my work has been accepted! I created a bowl, teacup and saucer out of repurposed, tie-dyed coffee filters which were coated with resin. The gallery reception will be held Saturday, February 13th, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Didn’t Make the Cut But There’s More
Well, “Pause” didn’t make the exhibition for the “At Midnight” show at the Ashton Gallery. But, I’m sure there is a place for it in the future.
In the meantime, I have had fun making some very colorful masks! I have posted the link below for the YouTube video. Kinda have to hunt for the pattern but it’s there. Enjoy!
New Painting for a New Show “At Midnight”!
I have entered a new painting for a new show called “At Midnight” for Art on 30th (Ashton Gallery). The title of my submission is “Pause”. The results of the submissions will be announced on 28 September 2020. The opening reception is Halloween, 31 October! It runs until 28 November. Wish me luck!

San Diego Museum of Art Artists Guild Show
THE SAN DIEGO MUSEUM OF ART ARTISTS GUILD will be displaying juried membership artwork at the Lyceum Theatre in conjunction with Hershey Felder’s “Paris, A Love Story”. My combined media artwork, “Paris Circles” has been accepted into the show! Depending upon the current situation, the artwork will be available for viewing May 1 – June 8, 2020. Artwork reception is scheduled to be held May 8, 6:30 – 9:30 PM. This information will be updated as changes may occur.
UPDATE: The show and exhibition has been postponed tentatively to end of July.

San Marcos Community Center Art Show Update
San Marcos Community Center Art Show, March 2-30 April, 2020
The Juried Art & Photography Show at the San Marcos Community Center has accepted two paintings! Artists reception will be Thursday, March 5 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. A light dinner and refreshments will be provided by Chick-fil-A. Art will be available for viewing Monday – Friday, March 2 through April 30 from 8 am to 7 pm.
